You may have noticed, here at Syntrax Nutrition we've recently undergone A LOT of changes. These changes range from opening our brand new, state-of-the-art production facility at the beginning of 2023 to a major packaging structure and design re-haul.

FreshShield™ Technology

We're never satisfied with the status quo and we thought there were improvements that could be made in the nutrition industry. So we evaluated the state of the industry and the first problem we wanted to solve was "how to ensure the product is as fresh as the first day it's opened until the very last scoop?" We solved this problem with what we coined FreshShield™ Technology. This is a first-of-a-kind within the nutrition and supplements sector and ensures our protein has the same quality and taste from the day of manufacturing to the "best by" date. Made possible by a tiny sachet that removes all oxygen from within the packaging. Without oxygen, only inert gases are left to envelop and protect the protein powder and flavoring molecules from oxidation, rancidity, and bacterial growth.

New Packaging: Form Meets Function

In order to ensure that oxygen couldn't continue creeping into the packaging after the FreshShield Technology removes it, we had to make the product packaging out of an advanced material that is completely hermetic and wouldn't allow even the tiniest of molecules inside. Thus, our strikingly-designed, metallic, air-tight quad-seal bags were born. We know that looks aren't everything though, and wanted to extend the functionality further by ridding our customers of the horrible clog-happy zippers that refuse to close correctly. Perhaps more importantly, ditching the zipper also allowed us to have non-terminated side gussets, which allows the bag to open up MUCH wider than your standard bottle or zipper bag of protein. This ensures your hand doesn't get caught inside the bag and covered with protein each time you reach for another scoop.

Introducing the Clip-Scoop

Without a zipper we had to have a different way of closing our newly-designed bags. Some type of "chip clip" is what we kept coming back to but we wanted to ensure this wasn't just another chunk of plastic going into a landfill once your protein is gone. We also didn't want our customers to have to scrounge around in their brand new bag of protein with dirty hands, soiling the fresh powdery goodness in search of a small clip, so we engineered the Clip-Scoop! This is an injection-molded marvel in that it combines a tear-away clip with the protein scoop itself. This larger hunk of plastic is not only easier to detect in a sea of protein powder, but the clip is also reusable for chips, cereal, or whatever else you keep in little baggies (Colorado, we're looking at you 😉).

A Place to Call Home: Our Very Own Manufacturing Facility

The next big head-scratcher was how to make the product as affordable as possible without sacrificing an ounce of quality. This proved difficult in a time of inflated raw material prices, but the only way we could control this is to manufacture the product ourselves. A burdensome and large task, but we did just that and built a cutting-edge 52,000 square foot production facility just so we could give our customers the highest-end nutrition supplements they've grown to love from Syntrax, at the best possible price. We didn't want to spare any expense in making what is now the absolute highest-quality product on the market at the most affordable price point possible.
